Guest upstairs bathroom above master bathroom tub was leaking through ceiling. Determined that the waste and overflow washer at overflow was possibly the cause. Once took apart realized that trim has been replaced before and both washers were original to home. Replaced with new washers and waste and overflow trim.

Installed tub diverter, and waste and overflow trim brushed nickel in both bathrooms. Pulled out debris out of both tub and showers but wasn’t able to clear completely the master bathroom tub. Home has original cast iron, plumbing and recommend preparing for a full replacement.

Sheetrock access to dripping under master shower into living room determined that water from shower valve was following the water lines. Made second access in wall behind shower valve to verify and was able to verify valve was leaking only when water was turned on. This is likely from the winter freeze because this type of valve doesn’t allow you to drip on the hot side unless you running full pressure. Removed 12” copper water lines and installed type A uponor water lines jus ne’er the p trap back to the shower. Installed new delta shower valve and trim.
