When to Schedule Sewer Repair

Whether dealing with a problem such as a broken sewer line or you’re experiencing a backup in your sewer line, the issue needs to be taken care of immediately. A malfunctioning or damaged sewer line can quickly lead to far bigger problems, such as wastewater backing up into your sinks and tubs. In Frisco, Texas, a precise plumbing repair was completed in a home where the guest bedroom's floor was soaked with water due to a compromised drain line. The plumbing team recommended pulling back the carpet and removing the padding to address the issue effectively. Inside the closet that connects to the bathroom, they pinpointed the source of the problem—a break in the vent that needed repair. They successfully made a drain repair at the sink to the vent tee, ensuring the rest of the home's water system remained fully operational, though this specific sink required attention.

Thorough Plumbing recently completed a sewer line replacement in Plano, Texas. The job included replacing lines from clean outs to the master bathroom and guest toilet. The team had to chip the beam to replace the sanitary tee for the vent and toilet arm. They also pulled and reset the toilet, chipped concrete, and created an access tunnel, including brick removal at a 2-inch wall clean out. Plumbing was hung with riser clamps, and an engineer report was completed for backfilling and piers for the foundation.

Installed new schedule PVC from kitchen with new cleanout access and washing washing machine, also with cleanout. Brought lines out with 2 pipe and connected with 3 to bring around to the front of the home. Yard service is 4 PVC and tied in directly with a combo and a slip coupling. No banded couplings on any of our replacement. The cast-iron combo is capped off in the wall at the kitchen and washing machine because the lines are still connected to the bathrooms on the other side of home.

5 foot tunnel at right side of home. This is for a brake at guest hall bathroom. Will likely need to chip in a beam to gain access break. Plumbing was shifted almost three inches causing the break. Made repair by chipping into beam and re-plumbing 3” PVC 90 in beam and connecting next to combo to shower. Also, pulled and reset toilet.

Toilet was pull and new flange was installed and reset the existing toilet with new shut off valve. Sink is on it's own combo not connected to toilet. Washer drain line was also brought up into the wall to install a new p-trap. All new schedule PVC with hanger support.
